‘Beatrix II’, also named locally the ‘Green Tower’, is an iconic property on the Utrechtsebaan in The Hague’s central business district. This area, known as the Beatrix Quarter, is considered to be one of the best office markets in the Netherlands. The building was designed by Van Gool and has been the head office of PostNL since 1986. The property compromises 28,033 sq. m of office space and was completely renovated in 2011 to comply with today’s high quality comfort and sustainability standards.

"Beatrix II" is part of the Beatrix quarter in the centre of The Hague: immediately off the Utrechtsebaan, between the District Court buildings and the Nationale Nederlanden offices. The Prinses Beatrixlaan is the heart of the Beatrix quarter and is flanked by offices and apartments, but also small shops, crèches, grand cafés, restaurants, a gym, a hotel and a conference centre. The Beatrix quarter is a place to work, live, shop, relax and find services. Not a boring and sterile office environment, but an area that oozes energy, 24/7.

Accessibility had high priority when the Beatrix quarter was developed, and its access, both by car and public transport, can only be described as excellent. This quarter is just off exit 3 from the Utrechtsebaan, guaranteeing direct access to the A12 (Utrecht), the A4 (Amsterdam) and the A13 (Rotterdam). But public transport access is also excellent: The Hague central station and Laan van NOI are just a stroll away, and the Randstad light rail (which runs to Zoetermeer and Rotterdam via The Hague CS), also stops in the middle of this quarter.
