Sypesteyn is located in the heart of the city centre business district on the Jaarbeursplein, next to the city’s main railway station and public transport hub. The district is popular with both small and medium-sized businesses as well as larger corporate users. The eight-storey complex also has a spacious archive area in the cellar (approx. 750 sq. m) and offers a total of 7,500 sq. m of office space. This can easily be sub-divided into two units to let separately.
The Sypesteyn building is located on the Jaarbeursplein immediately next to the entrance of Utrecht central station and the Hoog Catharijne shopping mall, so that every imaginable amenity is at hand. The station itself has a number of places to eat and drink, but the centre of Utrecht is also very easy to reach. The area around the central station is due to undergo an extensive facelift in the coming period which will make this area even more attractive. A good example of this is the arrival of the new council offices (Stadskantoor) and a new public transport link which will run past the building.
Located as it is on the Jaarbeursplein, Sypesteyn has an absolute A1 location in terms of accessibility within Utrecht, and Utrecht itself is located in the heart of the country and easy to reach from the motorways. The building is furthermore located next to the most important public transport hub in The Netherlands. The major roads in and out of Utrecht, the A2 and A12, are also close by and you can be in Amsterdam or Schiphol within 40 minutes.
By public transport
As Utrecht central station is literally next door, Sypesteyn is probably the most accessible office building in the entire Netherlands. With more than 150,000 travellers a day, Utrecht central station is the busiest station in the country and because of its central location, all the major cities and Schiphol Airport are directly accessible by train.
